Seaside eco-hotel at Zeulenrodaer Meer Dam
Thüringer Naturistentage (TNT) 2020 [en: Thuringian Naturist Days 2020]: Free range nakation during 10 days (from Friday to Sunday) of varied, naturist activities in Thuringia and in neighbouring Saxon Vogtland. Base station was the town of Zeulenroda-Triebes, where naturists found their accommodation mainly in the bungalow village Zadelsdorf or in the seaside eco-hotel directly at Zeulenrodaer Meer – as Zeulenroda Dam is also called in German. Naturists from Germany, Belgium, France, and Italy enjoyed this nakation.
Thank you very much for all the work – we will be happy to enjoy naktivities with you again!

► Fri 14 Aug: German press reports: Hiker in the buff falls 70 m into the depth

GFri 14: erman press reports: Hiker in the buff falls 70 m into the depth
A report by dpa (Deutsche Presse-Agentur [en: German Press Agency]) about the fall of a 76-year-old nude hiker in the Saale cascade ran through entire German-language press. He had slipped on the only 40 cm wide hiking trail during the onset of drizzle and fallen into the depths. Initially, two other nude hikers made their way down the difficult slope to provide first aid, and soon rescuers summoned by cell phone emergency call also arrived at the injured man, who abseiled to him and finally carried him across the Saale. A helicopter took the injured man to Jena University Hospital.
Good news: Miraculously, the man did not suffer any serious injuries from the fall, apart from a few broken ribs and countless bruises!

► Tue 18 Aug: Hiking through a moor, then sauna

► Hiking

Several of our nude hikes this year in Thuringia were accompanied by thunderstorms with heavy rain, such as the hike on the first Saturday near Saalbach or on Monday near Muldenberg in Saxon Vogtland.
Also during the moor tour on green paths on Tuesday near Bad Klosterlausnitz, heaven opened the floodgates, so that some people preferred to visit Kristall-Therme [en: Crystal Spa] there already after their midday rest.
Others continued hiking in rain until afternoon, before proceeding to the spa.

We were in the buff during the hike before and some of us also in the cars on the way to the spa.
Like in previous years, some of us preferred again, to leave their clothes in the car, walk some 50 to 70 meters from the car park to the entrance, and buy or show their tickets without clothes.
It's so logical and natural: When you alread nude all day, why dress on the car park, just to undress again a few meters and minutes later?
This time, we just wore a mask and – if personally necessary – footwear, which caused employees of the thermal bath to smile sympathetically or to say: “That's incredible!” – surprised and also with a smile.
However, it did work!

► Wed 19 Aug: Choices on rainless Wednesday: Hike or bike and push the bicycle

► Biking

20 nude bicycling fans had made their way to Schleiz to undertake a 40 km round trip from there towards Bleiloch Dam.

Beginning and end of the tour was on freshly asphalted sections of Oberland-Radweg Cycle Track with mild climbs and descents.
At the dam, the nude cyclists overtook a few families. Afterwards, they or our group stopped for a break, so that we encountered each other from time to time during the rest of the tour and soon got into conversation. Above all, we exchanged hints.
The central part of the route along arms of the dam as well as bypass routes proved to be quite challenging for cyclists:
Rain during previous days had partly softened the ground of the dirt roads.
On the other hand, non-e-bike riders had to push their bicycles on numerous inclines.

► Hiking

A group of 12 pedestrians hiked their own way, optionally “without anything” profiting by refreshments from a previously parked rest car.

We left the bungalow village Zadelsdorf in clothes.
On a car park at its edge, we met other naturists, stripped, left our clothes and everything else, we wouldn't need during the hike, in a car parked their, waited, until some of us had the rest car parked at the lido of Zeulenroda Dam and our friends having returned in another car.
The circular route around the a dam called Zeulenrodaer Meer led along the road, through the next village, to the bank of the dam, then partly over wooded elevated paths above the dam, partly directly along the shore to the popular lido of Zeulenroda Dam at the edge of the town.
There, most of us couldn't resist taking a refreshing skinny dip in the nude – or mingling with textile-wearing foodies at a booth queuing up for an ice cream. On the further way, we enjoyed some more bathing opportunities.
Finally, we crossed the bungalow village Zadelsdorf, where most of us stayed, passed a beer garden and a playground, encountered here like everywhere else relaxed people, who returned friendly the greetings of us naturists.

On Thursday, we hiked on the so-called Vogtland Panorama Trail. From the car park at the planned end of our hike, we went by train to the village Unterhermsgrün. The railway station served as point to disrobe.
On Saturday, the majority of us enjoyed another day full of rain at Bleichloch Dam, while others – due to weather forcast – preferred to spend the day again in Kristall Therme in Bad Klausterlausnitz.
On Sunday, we had a relaxed day at Plothener Teiche [en: Plothen Ponds] – natury has reported about that in 2018 already.
This time, a team of young people officially accompanied us. They had the task to produce a public German TV reportage about nude life and naktivities for an Internet channel – read more. We enjoyed the public interest and the openness of young people concerning our lifestyle.
